12-Week Grooming Program
At Melbourne Pet Club Grooming School, during the 12-week program, students learn about grooming
equipment, pet psychology, biology, and breed recognition. We also teach you how to maintain groomer-client relations and practice what you're learning through weekly lab work. Each of our students progresses at their own rate and speed. We do offer rotational enrolment which allows new students to enrol on the next available Monday when a previous student has graduated. Each of our students must attend 480 hours of training to graduate. Ninety percent of the training is hands-on lab work. The remaining time is theory and lecture. The purpose of the training is to supply skilled groomers with the opportunity to fill the many job opportunities available in the pet industry.
